IMPLEMENTATION

Developing System Design and Statement of Work
After obtaining all necessary information, GlobeStar Systems’ Engineering Team finalizes the overall system design for the integration implementation. This includes generating a comprehensive Statement of Work that addresses the complete scope of installation, system design details, deliverable functionalities, application features, timelines and all other requirements pertaining to the project's efficient and effective installation.

Performing a Site Survey
GlobeStar Systems’ thorough site surveys ensure efficient project execution. By arranging an initial meeting with all parties involved in a project, the GlobeStar Systems Project Manager and Engineering Team can establish an overall understanding of the scope and complexity of the implementation effort. Critical information is gathered and a detailed site survey form is completed. The customer and all equipment partners determine specifics regarding the facility's network structure as well as the existing hardware, software and middleware that will be integrated.

Developing Integration Protocol and New Software Features
Following the site survey and communications with equipment partners and customer staff, the GlobeStar Systems Engineering Team will determine if ConnexALL® provides the necessary interfacing protocols for the planned business system integration. When required, GlobeStar Systems’ Engineering team will engage our Research and Development staff to further identify interfacing needs and coordinate the development of any customized application interfaces or new software features.

Assigning a Project Manager
A dedicated GlobeStar Systems Project Manager is assigned to oversee and coordinate the end-to-end implementation effort. The Project Manager is responsible for communicating with all parties including equipment suppliers, contractors and end users in order to define integration details, allocate resources, and determine timing requirements.

GlobeStar Systems Software Implementation
GlobeStar Systems takes every measure possible to ensure that implementation of our solutions proceeds smoothly and flawlessly. Based on our vast experience in complex system environments, we follow a proven methodology for integrating GlobeStar Systems’ software with third-party business systems.

Project Implementation

The GlobeStar Systems software implementation process includes the following steps:

a. Third-party system connection verification guarantees proper physical      connectivity between third-party business systems and GlobeStar Systems’      software application computers.
b. Populating the GlobeStar Systems software database includes carefully     configuring the notification server, importing system alarms, setting up         notification devices and implementing department schedules.
c. Defining escalation parameters, interval timing between notification retries and     assignment procedures for callpoint activities is facilitated through meetings with     respective department heads and staff.
d. System verification testing ensures that GlobeStar Systems’ software is     interpreting system output strings and protocols correctly prior to going live with     the overall integration.
e. On-site end user training prepares customers with a thorough understanding of     their GlobeStar Systems products and familiarizes them with new workflow     procedures. Our proven "train the trainer" methodology is used to facilitate     ongoing training needs.

Follow-up Meetings

On-site follow-up meetings are scheduled after the implementation of each integration solution is complete. These meetings are intended to enable customers to communicate modification suggestions to improve the system performance after they have had the opportunity to see it in action.
