Service Maintenance Contract Specialist
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Service Maintenance Contract Specialist will be responsible for interacting with our existing client base for the purpose of developing further opportunities. A key aspect of this role will be revenue generation from enrolling existing clients in the annual support services contract.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Proactively reach out to our customer and reseller base to ensure Service Maintenance Contracts are renewed.
- New business generation from active engagement with the existing client base for any up-sale opportunities.
- Record the status of all contract renewal communications in an organized and reportable manner.
Front line market research to map the organizational structure of the various healthcare institutions in the region
- The information gathered will include but not be limited to;
- Reporting structure of each facility
- Budget allocation processes and procedures
- Fiscal trends to determine buying cycles
- Identifying facility specific and region wide initiatives that may lead to natural synergy when coupled with our product
- Understand, follow and execute maintenance control processing steps outlined by your manager
Responsible and Accountable for revenue generation from maintenance renewals
INTERACTIONS
- Interact with existing customers and understand current challenges.
- Interact with the partner community and provide assistance as it pertains to selling of Maintenance Contracts.
- Work closely with the Operations Department to ensure correct processing of Maintenance Contracts.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills with the ability to write business correspondence.
- Bilingual (English and French) a strong asset.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Post-secondary diploma in Business, Communications or related field
- 2-4 years related experience in inside sales of enterprise solutions
- Self motivated, positive with "can-do" attitude, take independent actions and participate in self-development activities
- Able to exercise independent judgment and take subsequent action.
- Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Keen attention to detail, logical and efficient.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to track and record a detailed account of specific sales activities and outcome.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
