Work Process
The Connexall Professional Service Organization's (PSO) approach begins with a thorough understanding of your current care paths and workflows and how your cross-care delivery team works today.
Then, collaborating with your team, we reimagine a “Better Way to Work”, with fewer bottlenecks, less redundancy, removed workarounds and fewer overall steps.

2.1) Investigate and Verify Clinical Milestones
- An input session will be held to level-set expectations and criteria for success
2.2) Analyze Workflow
- We gather an understanding of current clinical workflow by conducting interviews with staff across the care delivery team, from admit to discharge
- A guided tour of the care paths expands our understanding of the work environment, location, layout and staff interactions and transactions
- The PSO team will conduct ethnography reviews and make workflow observations and documentations across the multi-disciplinary team
- Our technical experts will assess current technology and HIS systems in place that support the flow of communication and patient information
- The "as is" state is documented by the creation of a schema upon which an understanding of the workflow today will be documented
2.3) Verify and prioritize findings with clinicians
- The team will discuss bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the current model
2.4) Conceptualize and evaluate design
- The "to be" state will be expressed in a proposal for a new clinical workflow design based on input received
- Prior to implementation, we will work together to verify the viability of the proposed solution
Communicate with the Development Team
- The proposed solution will be presented to the entire interdisciplinary team, and feedback will be incorporated into the design
- A full and detailed implementation plan and schedule will be deployed and approved: a Statement of Work will define the engagement. The purpose of this is to define the process – from implementation to installation, milestones and expected results – to ensure we are "on the same page" with you and your team
